Rental conditions

The Grézelou estate is a village of gîtes for 2 to 9 people, surrounded by nature between Sarlat and Gourdon.

Reservation

Your reservation becomes firm and final after:

  • The payment of a deposit of 30% of the total amount of your rental by card, bank transfer or holiday voucher;
  • The signing of your contract from the website www.grezelou.com or the sending by post of a copy of the rental contract signed by you, and returned to the owner of the Grézelou estate within 10 days of your request;
  • The payment of the remaining balance due paid at the latest 30 days before the start of the stay, by the same means of payment as for the deposit. An email will be sent to you 30 days before the start date of the rental with the payment link by credit card or the IBAN for payment by transfer. The customer who has not paid the balance on the agreed date is considered to have cancelled his stay.

In the event of a reservation less than 30 days before the start of the stay, the full payment for the stay will be paid upon reservation.

Length of stay

The length of stays are:

  • one night outside school holiday periods;
  • 3 nights minimum during school holidays except July and August;
  • one or more weeks in July and August.
    from Saturday to Saturday for the lodgings:
    • Le figuier
    • Le douglas
    • Le châtaignier
    • L’acacia
    • Le noyer
  • from Sunday to Sunday for the lodgings:
    • Le chêne
    • Le frêne

Your arrival:

  • Reception on the first day between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
    Please call us one hour before your expected arrival time to best prepare for your reception.
  • Departure: before 11 a.m. on the morning of the last day.

Dogs are welcome at the Domaine du Grézelou and must be kept on a leash outside the area reserved for your rental for the peace and quiet of other tenants. We cannot accommodate other animals, including cats.

Cancellation

Cancellation by the tenant:

  • Cancellation more than 30 days before your arrival, the amount of the 30% deposit is refunded to the tenant:
  • Cancellation between the 30th and 15th day before your arrival, the amount of the 30% deposit is due to the owners;
  • Cancellation 15 days before, the entire amount of the stay is due to the owner.

Cancellation by the owner:

The Domaine de Grézelou reimburses the amounts already paid + compensation equal to the penalty that the customer would have borne, upon presentation of supporting documents.

Interruption during the stay by the tenants:

No refund will be made.

You have the possibility to take out cancellation insurance with your insurer.

Security deposit

An inventory of the rented premises is carried out by the owner of the Domaine de Grézelou and the tenants at the beginning and end of the stay. Any loss or damage will give rise to compensation.

A deposit of 900 euros will be requested from tenants as a security deposit upon arrival. If the amount of losses or damage exceeds the amount of the deposit, the tenant agrees to pay the supplement after inventory.

Cleaning the house is the responsibility of tenants during their stay and before their departure. It is also possible to subscribe to a cleaning option for 90€ when booking online on the website www.grezelou.com.

Insurance

Tenants are responsible for damage caused by them. You must subscribe or have subscribed to so-called “holiday” insurance. A certificate must be presented when the keys are handed over.

The owner is insured for his liability with Assurances MAAF, 18 Avenue Thiers 24200 Sarlat [To be personalized].

Complaint

Any complaint concerning the chalet(s), the inventory or the descriptive condition, cannot be submitted to the owner of the Domaine de Grézelou beyond the 3rd day of occupation. The rental contract signed by the tenant and the owner is subject to French laws governing the general conditions of booking a rental house: articles 95 to 103 of decree No. 94-490 of June 15, 1994.
